Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking caring caregivers to support seniors in their own homes in Elgin and the surrounding area. You will assist with personal care, companionship, medication reminders, mobility support, meal prep and light housekeeping to help clients maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Must be a Driver and able to operate vehicles as needed.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are essential.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (citizenship/immigration status compliant).
• Clean background check and fingerprints are required.
• Able to bend, squat, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, companionship, and mobility support.
• Provide medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Offer social interaction and ensure safety in the client’s home.

Live-In role: Daily Rate starting $263.50/day (Weekdays) & $275.00/day (Weekends)

In this role, you will be able to assist your clients with personal care, companionship, medication reminders, mobility assistance, meal preparation and light housekeeping, among other activities. Job Requirements:
