Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks (SHS) is hiring caregivers to provide companionship and homemaker services in the Ozarks area. Roles include in-home support, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and medication reminders, with focus on compassionate, reliable care for seniors.

Positions offer a flexible schedule, the chance to earn extra income, and lasting relationships with clients and families in their own homes.

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship and homemaker duties as listed.
• Assist with light housekeeping, shopping, meals, and errands.
• Medication reminders and pet care as needed.
• Overnight supervision and incidental transportation as required.
• Record changes in client condition and report to office staff.

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working with our senior population

• Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual

• Understand the importance of our services to our seniors

• Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission

• High level of emotional intelligence

• Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan

• Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job

• Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS

• Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Provide Companionship

• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

• Shopping and Errands

• Meal Preparation

• Medication Reminders

• Pet Care

• Light Yard Work

• Light Handyman Services

• Overnight Supervision

• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with Dressing

• Assist with Feeding

• Assist with Showering / Bathing

• Mobility Assistance

• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence

• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services

• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided

• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff

• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff

• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible

• Clock in and out using our care management system
