Almost Family- Clackamas is seeking a full-time caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals stay independent in their own homes in Clackamas, Oregon. You will provide personal care and companionship with compassion and reliability.

The role requires at least one year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid are preferred, with paid training offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and other errands

Compensation & Benefits
