Job summary

Home Instead is hiring Care Professionals in Indiana communities including Attica, West Lebanon, Williamsport, Covington, Perrysville, and Hillsboro. You will provide non-medical care to aging adults so they can stay safely at home, with companionship, daily living assistance, and respectful support.

• Pay Rate: Competitive Pay from $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
• Available Shifts:
  • Mornings & Evenings Part-time in Hillsboro
  • Afternoons Part-time in West Lebanon
  • Growth/Fill-in shifts (no set hours/schedule)

Primary Responsibilities

As a Care Professional, you will provide high-quality, non-medical personal care services and contribute to a positive living environment for clients. Responsibilities include:

• Companionship & Personal Care:
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues
  • Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Household Support:
  • Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.)
  • Washing and ironing laundry
• Health & Logistics:
  • Providing medication and appointment remindersRunning errands and accompanying clients to appointments
  • Providing specialized care, including Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia and Hospice care
• Reporting:
  • Documenting daily activities and reporting any significant changes in a client’s needs
  • Maintaining regular communication with your supervisor and the office staff
