Arcadia Home Care and Staffing – an Addus family company in Pennsylvania is hiring caregivers for flexible full-time/part-time hours. This entry-level role does not require prior experience or certifications, only the willingness to help others per a written care plan.

Training is provided via in-person, phone, or video, and benefits include healthcare, vision/dental, HSA, 401K, and paid training. You’ll support daily living activities and accompany clients to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete the agency's employment process.
• Criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as a team.
• 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes).
• Light meal prep and serving meals.
• Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved.
• Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved.
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks).
