Day in the Life of a Caregiver

Providing a helping hand: building relationships, engaging in leisure activities, preparing meals, assisting with daily activities, and documenting the day.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy
• Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report activities completed and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Caregiver Qualifications

• Passionate about helping others
• Enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• Willing to help community and make a difference in someone’s life
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and willing to submit to a motor vehicle record check
• Experience caring for seniors in a family or professional setting
