Job summary

Senior Helpers in Charlottesville is seeking caring caregivers for full-time or part-time, day, evening or overnight shifts to support clients at home. You will provide one-on-one non-medical assistance, light personal care, companionship, meal prep, and help with daily activities while promoting independence.

We offer thorough training, flexible schedules, and a supportive team culture that values empathy and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Experienced caregiver preferred.
  • Ability to perform light dressing and shower support.
  • Ability to cook refined meals with nutrition focus.
  • Comfort with light housekeeping and errands.

Responsibilities

  • Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
  • Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrap-booking, gardening, games, etc.)
  • Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
  • Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
  • Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Immediate Need Caregiver-ALL SHIFTS

Great opportunity for experienced caregivers seeking meaningful FULL TIME AND PART TIME work, kind individuals interested in becoming caregivers and those looking to supplement their income while making a difference in someone's life.

We are seeking a kindhearted, patient and thoughtful individual to work regular weekdays and/or weekends overnights and days. Very light personal caregiving case in Charlottesville. Along with light dressing and shower support the companion caregiving activities include maintaining a beautiful and very organized home. A refined cooking ability with nutrition focus would create a strong bond. Running errands together are needed.
