Job summary

Village Caregiving is hiring responsible in-home caregivers to assist veterans and elderly clients with daily living activities in and around Canton, Ohio. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and light housework in a compassionate, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing ADLs and daily living assistance preferred.
• Reliable and responsible with compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and support daily living tasks.

• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Monitor safety and report incidents promptly to supervisor.

We have an immediate need for Caregivers in and around the Canton, Ohio area. We offer FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES and a family like atmosphere to support you in your role at our company. We have shifts available in Canton, Massillon, Allianceand surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
