Visiting Angels Carmel in Carmel, IN is seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in Hamilton County. The role includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and companionship.

We offer opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care, with flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, and PRN options. Join a team dedicated to improving quality of life for clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, person-centered caregiving abilities.
• Clear communication with clients and family members.
• Basic first-aid knowledge and emergency awareness.

Responsabilités

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
