Job summary

Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a Caregiver to join our team. We provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans with flexible scheduling and top pay. Benefits like health coverage, online training, and fast onboarding are available.

Positions include part-time and full-time hours across varying shifts Sunday–Saturday, depending on client needs. You will assist with companionship, daily living activities, and safety in the home.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• 1 year caregiver experience.
• Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Housekeeping and meal preparation assistance.
• Assists clients with transfers and ambulation (cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift).
• Assists clients with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals with client input.
• Assists with toileting and hygiene needs.
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Completes other duties per the Client Service Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities May Include (depending on Client Service Plan):

• Offering companionship and emotional support


• Housekeeping


• Assists clients with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair or Hoyer Lift (specific to client)


• Assists clients with bathing, dressing and grooming


• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able)


• Assists clients with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet


• Report on any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator


• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency


• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
