Job summary

Arcadia Home Care and Staffing in Pennsylvania seeks Home Care Aides to provide compassionate in-home support. No prior experience is required, and flexible full-time or part-time hours fit your schedule while you build a rewarding career in home care.

The position includes personal care, light housework, meal prep, errands, and companionship, with comprehensive training and access to benefits through Arcadia and the Addus family.

Qualifications

• Must complete the agency's employment process.
• Criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as a team.
• 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
• Light meal prep and serving meals
• Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved
• Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)
