Job summary

A home care provider located in West Virginia is seeking caring individuals to serve as caregivers. This position offers flexible scheduling, where you can decide the number of hours you work, alongside competitive pay that starts at $14.50 per hour. No past experience is required as training will be provided. Responsibilities include serving as a companion, transporting clients, reminding them about medications, and assisting with daily living activities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• No certifications or experience required- we will provide initial and ongoing caregiver training
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance preferred

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Medication reminders
• Preparing meals
• Performing light housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, laundry, etc.)
• Providing bathing and dressing assistance
• Assisting with transfer and mobility
• Following patient care plans
• Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to nursing team
• Communicating with families, co-workers, and supervisors regarding care
• Completing and maintaining proper time sheet records for services provided
