Job summary

CareMaxx is seeking a compassionate Caregiver (PCA, HHA, CNA) to assist seniors with daily living activities and community outings. You will help with grooming, meals, light housekeeping, and mobility, while building trusting relationships with clients and families.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a caring, consistent demeanor, and possess CPR certification. Driver's license and reliable transportation are required for community engagements and transportation assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with individuals with dementia or memory care needs as a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older and physically capable of caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assist with activities of daily living.

• Provide transportation for appointments and errands as needed.
• Observe changes in client health or home safety and report to supervisor.

As a Caregiver(PCA, HHA, CNA), you would assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living that include but are not limited to, personal hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, experience with assistive devices (gait belt, walkers, wheelchair). In addition, you would engage with clients in the community by attending community events, outings, and activities.

Caregiver/ Personal Care Assistant-Job Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
• Help seniors with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, transfers, light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide occasional transportation and accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments and pharmacy visits
• Observe and report any changes in the mental, physical, emotional condition of the client or a home situation to the immediate supervisor
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home

Requirements:

• Dementia/Alzheimer's, Memory Care experience a plus
