Senior Helpers of Pelham, AL is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to provide in-home assistance to elderly clients. The role includes helping with daily living activities, medication reminders, running errands, and accompanying clients to appointments at home.

You will offer companionship, ensure safety, and support clients in maintaining independence in a familiar environment while coordinating with families and healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meal prep).
• Ability to follow instructions and medication reminders.
• Reliable transportation and time management.
• Excellent communication with clients and families.
• Emergency readiness and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Run errands including grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments as needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
• Document care activities and note changes in the client’s condition.
• Communicate with the client’s family and healthcare professionals as needed.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Medical Caregiver who loves working with clients to provide exceptional care and support. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, medication reminders, running errands, accompanying them to doctor appointments, and providing personal assistance as needed.
