Job summary

Great Oaks Career Campuses is seeking a Career Technical Education Aide (Part-Time) at Laurel Oaks Career Campus to support instructional programs and student success. You will assist with hardware/software integration and help with assessments, while supervising students in career/technical areas. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma; an Associate's Degree or 48 college hours are preferred.

Duties include communicating progress to staff and maintaining records. Hours are 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's Degree or 48 college hours preferred.
• Demonstration of effective communication skills.
• Prior experience in working with high school students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with the integration of hardware/software into the learning environment.
• Assists students and staff with assessment program.
• Supervises students in an orderly, consistent manner.
• Provides one-on-one or small group support to students in career/technical content areas.
• Communicates student progress to staff as applicable.
• Maintains daily attendance records as needed.
• Completes all reports and students documentation as applicable.
• Follows and adheres to all policies and practices regarding confidentiality.
• Participates in training programs as required or needed.Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology utilized by the district.
• Acts in a professional manner at all times and as an effective role model for students.

Salary

$22.25 per hour (Medical/Dental Benefits not included)
$23.46 per hour with ESEA Qualification (Medical/Dental Benefits not included)
