Job summary

Broward County Public Schools is seeking a Career & Technical Edu Advisor - Level 1 to provide career and labor market information to students and parents in middle, high school, and adult education programs. The role requires collaboration with school staff, community partners, and local businesses in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The ideal candidate holds the required high school diploma or GED or an associate degree with related work experience, and demonstrates strong communication and computer

Qualifications

• A standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Three (3) years of full-time industry work experience aligned to any Florida Department of Education career clusters.
• An earned associate’s degree from an accredited institution or at least 60 semester hours of earned college credit from an accredited institution.
• One (1) year of documented work experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

POSITION GOAL

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
