Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in workforce development, case management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of workforce development systems and local labor market trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with diverse populations.
  • Commitment to serving underserved communities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
  • Understanding of challenges facing off-reservation American Indian populations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake, assessment, and ongoing evaluation of participants’ employment needs.
  • Develop individualized employment plans to support participants in achieving long-term career goals.
  • Provide consistent career coaching, mentoring, and employment counseling throughout the job search process.
  • Monitor participant progress, follow-ups, and verify employment outcomes to ensure successful program completion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers, community-based organizations, and training providers.
  • Research and share career pathway opportunities, training programs, and supportive resources.
  • Maintain accurate, timely case notes and participant records in database systems in compliance with program and grant requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports and ensure all documentation meets organizational and funder standards.
  • Participate in required training and contribute to a collaborative, mission-focused team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
