Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries’ Western Veneer division in White City, Oregon is hiring entry-level labor to learn production, operate stations, and support wood veneer manufacturing.

The role includes on-the-job training, opportunities for advancement, and a benefits package with health coverage, retirement contributions, paid vacation and holidays. Expect a 10-hour shift from Monday to Thursday with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• Recent, related work history and verifiable references preferred

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our wood veneer manufacturing facility.
• General production labor duties: shovel and sweep wood byproducts, stack and pile lumber and veneer.
• The work is fast-paced and can be demanding at times.
• Overtime may be required during busy production times.
• Shift is Monday through Thursday with 10-hour days.

Currently, we have multiple day shift or swing shift entry-level labor positions with great opportunities for advancement at our Western Veneer division based in White City, Oregon.

About The Position

• Find yourself in a new career path in wood veneer manufacturing in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative wood veneer manufacturing facility
• General production labor duties: shovel and sweep wood byproducts, stack and pile lumber and veneer
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of some overtime during busy production times
• Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 10-hour shifts

Qualifications
