Job summary

Sierra Pacific Windows is seeking an Architectural Consultant to cover New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The role requires living in the area and will involve promoting Sierra Pacific Windows products, maintaining relationships with architects, and delivering product presentations.

Successful candidates will read and interpret drawings, provide technical info, and travel as needed. Training and internal advancement are emphasized, with competitive benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Polished presenter, negotiator and self-starter.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and organization.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specs.
• Collaborative, positive attitude and team player.
• Fenestration product knowledge preferred.
• Relationships in the local architectural community are a plus.
• Strong computer and mathematics skills.

About The Position

• Drive sales by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, building brand awareness and promoting Sierra Pacific Windows products
• Develop and maintain long‑term beneficial relationships with Architects, Architectural Firms and key accounts
• Conduct product and AIA accredited presentations for the architectural and design communities
• Be a consultant and expert on all products manufactured by Sierra Pacific Windows
• Provide technical information and write specifications with objective of increased sales
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Participate in industry trade shows and networking events
• Use bid search tools and CRM as directed by management
• Travel is required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent recent working experience in a significantly related field
• Professional and polished presenter, negotiator, and self‑starter
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Collaborative, positive attitude, and proven team player
• Product knowledge in fenestration industry preferred
• Relationships in the local architectural community a plus
• Excellent computer and mathematics skills

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $75,000 and $125,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.

We own and sustainably manage more than 2.4 million acres of timberland in California, Oregon, and Washington. Our forests are sustainably managed under a 100‑year plan by Registered Professional Foresters, Wildlife Biologists, Botanists, and other professionals.
