Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to lead and mentor a classroom, implementing our curriculum while tailoring it to each child’s needs. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment and partner with families to support the child’s development.

The role emphasizes collaboration with center staff to drive enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while building strong relationships with families and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
