Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to lead and mentor in the classroom, implementing our curriculum while adapting to each child's needs. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where kids can explore and learn, and actively partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education.

You will collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation and engagement while building strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing bodies

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer approval is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and families.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
