• Experience diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and tests equipment to identify and diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of central system operation.
• Repairs and rebuilds mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
• Inspects major machines for defects and measures accuracy of operation.
• Collaborates with engineering on tool design and function.
• Maintains the overall operation of the facility's electrical and mechanical systems to ensure proper performance.
• Tracks tool crib inventory usage and reports issues identified.
• Demonstrates understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and uses PLC to troubleshoot equipment.
