Job summary

White Cap is recruiting for an Operations Leader Trainee to join our Career Development Program. The role offers on-the-job training, job shadowing, and leadership development over a 12-18 month period, with the chance to rotate through various branch operations.

You’ll work on building skills from warehouse operations to customer service and management, supported by a Regional Advocate, mentor, and coaches to ensure your long-term success at White Cap.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate upon completing the program.
• Able to start the program between March and June.
• Driven to succeed with an energetic, professional, and goal-oriented attitude.
• Strong operations focus, including the ability to partner with customers to develop value-added solutions and experience leading or building a team.
• Strong communication skills and experience conversing with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Rotational assignments across branch operations to learn systems and processes.
• Participate in a tailored learning curriculum with leadership development sessions and operations training.
• Receive mentorship and coaching to support a successful long-term career path at White Cap.
• Present a capstone project to White Cap leadership to demonstrate learning and impact.

As an Operations Leader Trainee in White Cap’s Career Development Program, you will have the opportunity to engage in on-the-job training, job shadowing, leadership development, and partner with your manager to develop the skills and knowledge that will accelerate your career through a 12-18 month training program. Throughout the program, you’ll learn everything from the warehouse, where it all begins, to customer service, management, and beyond.
