LOCATION: Tacoma, WA
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee
This is a temporary position scheduled to end December 31, 2026. Continuation is based on available funding.
This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform 80% of work onsite at the listed location.
Career Team is looking for a high energy, service driven individual to be a Career Advisor and serve ourAdult and Dislocated Workers in Pierce County by helping them connect to employment and trainingopportunities. This role provides comprehensive case management, career planning, eligibility determination, and ongoing support to participants seeking employment and training opportunities. Career Advisors guide participants from initial enrollment through successful employment and program completion while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local workforce program requirements.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well autonomously while maintaining and strengthening partnerships with existing partners. Work will be performed under the WIOA (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act) Program underneath the Pierce County WorkSource umbrella. Work will be performed under the supervision of the Team Lead. If you have the heart to serve this community and the drive to do so, we want to meet you. Experience is not mandatory, however character is.

Salary: $25.48 - $26.92 per hour

Travel: Position may require local travel up to 20% of the time
