Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas is seeking a Systems Marketing Engineer as part of our CAP program, focusing on understanding customer needs and developing whole-system solutions using TI hardware and software. You will collaborate with customer teams, product lines, and TI sales to accelerate product lifecycles, reference designs, and documentation.

The program includes training and hands‑on learning from day one to accelerate your growth and success at TI.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to provide innovative solutions to their most challenging problems
• Utilize TI’s broad portfolio to create whole-system solutions that accelerate product lifecycles.
• Combine Hardware and software capabilities to further integrate complete TI solutions
• Develop reference designs including block diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, fabrication and testing.
• Interface directly with TI business units and customers to influence product roadmaps
• Gather user requirements, translate to functional specs, and implement system enhancements
• Provide complete documentation for system level solution
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging on issues related to the system working directly with customers

In this system marketing engineer role, you’ll have the chance to:

• Work with customers to provide innovative solutions to their most challenging problems
• Utilizing TI’s broad portfolio to combine TI parts to create whole system level solutions to accelerate customer product life cycle
• Combine Hardware and software capabilities to further integrate complete TI solutions
• Reference design Development including: block diagram, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication and assembly, testing.
• Interface directly with TI business units and customers to influence product roadmaps
• Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancements to broader end equipments.
• Provide complete documentation for system level solution
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging on issues related to the system working directly with customers
