Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a proactive Program Management Engineer in Dallas. The role focuses on leading cross-functional teams to release new products, drive ROI, and coordinate across design, manufacturing, and quality groups.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications from opportunity assessment through to market release. The position emphasizes leadership, process discipline, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure timely, on-spec product

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team on the execution of releasing new products and ROI for each development
• Coordinate with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality
• Plan projects from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and ensure on-budget delivery
• Provide clear direction to team and external support organizations such as fabrication and test sites
• Drive flawless execution of each product and project by all team members
• Provide weekly and monthly project status updates to management and communicate risks and milestones
• Interact with customers regarding project status, milestones, deliverables and samples
• Maintain thorough project schedules with milestones and ensure qualification & reliability planning is completed
• Coordinate material logistics and prioritization across shipment/assembly/test
• Maintain new product development guidelines in PM tracking system
• Engage in on-the-job development experiences across TI functions to broaden knowledge

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a cross functional team on the execution of releasing new products and ensuring successful return on investment for every development; the team consists of Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Field, and Quality
• Work with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality
• Plan the project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and the project comes in on budget
• Provide clear direction to both, team and external support organizations such as fabrication, assembly and test sites
• Drive and motivate all team members flawless execution of each product and project
• Provide weekly and monthly updates to management on status of projects, explaining the issues facing a project
• Interact with customers in support of project status, key milestones, and deliverables. This includes samples deliveries, special work requests, wafer lot starts and reliability tests
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones
• Ensuring Qualification & reliability planning and execution is completed
• Effectively coordinate material logistics and shipment/assembly/test prioritization
• Maintain new product development guidelines in PM tracking system
