Care Team Medical Assistant (I-II-III, IV)

Site Location: West Salem Clinic | 1233 Edgewater St NW Salem, OR

Position Status: Full-Time | Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 (Internal candidates that are currently employed here at NWHS are not eligible for a sign-on bonus.)

YOUR ROLE:

As an active member of the care team, you are primarily responsible for assisting patients throughout routine office visits and health management. In this role, you will contribute to monitoring and maintaining the patient’s health record through careful, accurate, and complete performance of tasks and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education and training in a Medical Assistant/Nursing/Medical program that includes coursework in pharmacology/administration of medications preferred.
  2. Medical Assistant Certification as an RMA, CMA, NCMOA, NCMA, preferred.
  3. CPR certified in infant, child, and adult levels.
  4. One year of experience in a medical clinic setting preferred.
  5. Bilingual preferred – Bilingual in English/another language and able to pass proficiency testing.
