Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks compassionate Care Partners (Nursing Assistants) to assist with patient care and maintain unit standards under a licensed nurse. You will support clinical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter care, specimen collection and other bedside tasks.

This is a part‑time role: 30 hours per week, 2nd shift (11:00 am–9:30 pm) with rotating days. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus enrollment in an RN program or completion of a Nursing Assistant/Aide

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and patient-focused.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are preferred.
• Willingness to engage in bedside patient care and learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Support day-to-day patient care and unit operations.
• Maintain environmental standards and patient safety.
• Serve as liaison for patient and family education needs.
• Assist with supplies, equipment, and workflow to ensure patient flow.
