Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a nursing assistant/nursing program, or one year relevant experience as a Care Partner or nursing assistant is required.
• Healthcare clerical experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and communication systems.
• Good reading, writing, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• Accurately report information to the registered nurse.
• Complete required care procedures as delegated per UPMC Washington policies.
• Maintain patient privacy and security in all records and communications.
• Collaborate with patients and families to support care plans.
