Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Sandy, UT is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents with daily activities and personal care. You will work closely with a care team to ensure comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance and record-keeping, while communicating changes to the care team and families. We value dignity, respect, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and state-required training.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as a team member and as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Honest, fair, dependable, and respectful of confidentiality.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents: bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care.
• Maintain proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.

Details about the Caregiver/Resident Assistant position we are hiring for:

As a Caregiver/Resident Assistant you will provide direct care assisting residents in their daily activities. Additional tasks include keeping proper care records, reporting any changes in resident’s conditions, interacting effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
