Care Partners is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to support Elders in daily living activities, health monitoring, and social engagement. The role emphasizes companionship, dignity, and respectful interactions within a supportive team.

The position includes PM shift coverage with potential for growth, focusing on quality of life, safety, and wellness for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodations.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care for elders, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Observe health changes and document/report to Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and dining support as needed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
• Communicate with elders, families, team members, and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping as required.

What You’ll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• PM shift 2pm-10:30pm
• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
