SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in our service area. You will offer companionship, assist with daily activities, and help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

We value reliability, empathy, and strong communication with families and SYNERGY office staff. Flexible schedules and ongoing training are available to support your growth and success in this role.

Qualificações

• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license or PCA test required/on-site eligibility.
• CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Provide companionship to clients, engage in activities and games.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Prepare snacks and meals for clients.
• Encourage light exercise to keep clients active.
• Keep home environment neat and comfortable for clients.
• Transport clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and SYNERGY staff.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and covering shifts as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship to seniors engaging in activities and games
• Personal Care Assistance with daily activities such as: medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Preparing snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your scheduled time with them
• Encouraging light exercise to keep the client active and physically moving
• Tidying up the house and keeping the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client
• Transporting the client to nearby appointments or engagements, assisting with running errands, taking your client to social activities, doctor's appointments, or events with their family and friends
• Establishing a solid line of communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and SYNERGY office staff
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts

Requirements:

• 1+ years of prior caregiving experience (preferred but not essential)
• Reliable transportation
• Pass a background check
• Must have or be willing to acquire the following:
• CPR Certification
• A Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• CNA LicenseORpass a PCA Test (provided on site)
• A valid driver’s license or ID
• A huge heart to care!
