Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Louisiana is seeking a compassionate Care Giver to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will help with daily living activities, maintain a safe home-like environment, and promote independence.

Must be 18 or older with a HS diploma/GED; CNA certification preferred. Strong communication and customer service, plus good judgment and problem-solving, are essential to support our residents and team.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living as instructed.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.
