Responsibilities include maintaining clean laundry areas, operating equipment, ensuring sanitation, and adhering to facility policies. A high school diploma is required, with prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and iron laundry items according to facility standards and regulations.
• Fold and bag clean laundry for distribution to residents and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas, including the washer and dryer, folding tables, and storage areas.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all laundry items are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized.
• Follow facility policies and guidelines for handling and processing laundry.
• Participate in quality control measures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of laundry services.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, relating to residents, families, and colleagues.
