Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain cleanliness and availability of linens in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment and ensure sanitary conditions while supporting residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good communication. Training is provided and benefits are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and guests.
• Must follow COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
