Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and ensure a sanitary environment while providing excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates prefer a high school diploma, prior laundry experience is a plus, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Residency in the service area is required and benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
