Job summary

Madison Court in Canton, MS is seeking a housekeeping aide to perform daily cleaning tasks in accordance with facility guidelines to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.

You will sweep, mop, dust, clean bathrooms, change liners, and report repairs. Must be able to read labels and follow directions, and be willing to work weekends or flexible shifts as needed. Training sessions and department meetings are required to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read and write with clarity sufficient to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop floors daily.
• Dust furniture, light fixtures, lamps, window ledges & wardrobes daily.
• Move furniture in rooms and clean in corners, behind furniture and under beds daily.
• Empty and change liners in waste cans/baskets daily.
• Clean and wash basins, commodes, lavatories & fixtures daily.
• Follow cleaning schedules provided by your Supervisor.
