Gallatin Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean and odor-free environment in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include cleaning public areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and maintaining equipment and carts.

The role requires attention to safety, independent work ethic, and excellent customer service. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, with experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day, including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
• Clean and remove dust, dirt or food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Use safety measures when cleaning, including caution signage and keeping supplies out of residents' reach.
• Operate supplies and equipment safely per manuals.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Notify Director of Housekeeping/Administrator/Director of Nursing about resident safety issues.
