Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Attendant to support our facilities in Kentucky. You will perform daily and deep cleaning, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure resident privacy and dignity are upheld in every interaction.

Responsibilities include disinfecting bathrooms, dusting and polishing surfaces, managing supplies, and reporting equipment defects. You will follow infection control policies, wear PPE, and assist with room turnover and isolation procedures as required.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust-mops floors; polish and clean fixtures in rooms and bathrooms.
• Mop rooms and halls; shampoo rugs and furniture.
• Clean vents, fans, top of windows, door frames and other high surfaces.
• Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials using specified bags and containers.
• Move furniture and other heavy objects as required.
• Perform terminal cleaning of resident rooms and prepare rooms for new admissions; follow isolation procedures.
• Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathrooms.
• Maintain clean work areas and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
