Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while adhering to sanitation guidelines and infection control policies.

Ideal candidates may have prior housekeeping experience. The role requires physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests while delivering excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
