Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in our healthcare facility. You will follow established schedules, work closely with nursing staff, and ensure bathrooms, rooms, and common areas meet high cleanliness standards.

Your role requires English literacy, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a cooperative attitude toward residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to follow written and oral cleaning instructions.
• Willing to work harmoniously with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate housekeeping with nursing services when performing routine cleaning.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, bathroom fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean floors: sweeping, mopping, waxing, disinfecting.
• Discard waste into proper containers and relining trash receptacles.
• Follow safety precautions when using equipment and chemicals.
• Use appropriate PPE when handling infectious materials or hazardous wastes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
