Job summary

Children's of Alabama is seeking a Care Coordination aide for the Main Campus McWane Building. It is a full-time position on the Day-Evening shift with three 12-hour shifts per week and variable weekend requirements.

Under the supervision of RNs and LPNs, you will provide assistive care and clear communication for patients, families, and staff. Essential credentials include Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is essential.
• 1 year of staff-level patient care experience is required or equivalent qualifications.
• Essential qualifications can be substituted with equivalent credentials listed.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of RNs and LPNs, provide assistive care and effective communication for patients, staff and visitors.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care and post-discharge planning where applicable.
