Job summary

CommCare Corporation in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Laundry Staff member for Calcasieu Community Care Center. You will process laundry, wash, fold, and maintain linens to support resident care and a clean facility.

The role requires strong organization, the ability to follow instructions, and a customer-service mindset. You will work with a team or independently, with pre-employment TB screening and background checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Process laundry, including loading, operating and unloading washers and dryers.
• Wash, fold, and iron soiled linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths.
• Safely operate, clean, and maintain equipment as trained.
• Stock shelves and maintain the cleanliness of the laundry facility.
• Assist in monthly linen inventory and preparing and stocking housekeeping carts.
• Maintain positive guest and associate relationships by responding appropriately to inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
• Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
