Job summary

Covenant Living invites qualified candidates to join our team as Care Attendants. You will assist residents with daily activities, dining, mobility, and light housekeeping within a faith-based, supportive community.

We offer competitive pay between $16.06 and $20.88 per hour, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and additional voluntary programs. Opportunities exist across assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Genuine compassion and patience for senior adults.

Responsibilities

• Give assistance to residents in activities of daily living, dining services, light housekeeping.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as needed.
• Assist with laundry, bed making, and maintain residents' rooms clean and orderly.
• Serve meals in dining room and observe residents while eating.
• Deliver meal trays for room service and return trays after meals.
• Cross-train to work in all levels of care (AL, SNF, memory care).

In this role the Care Attendant Non Certified Will

• Give assistance to residents in areas of activities, dining services, light housekeeping, and routine activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with daily activities.
• Assist with laundry, bed making, light housekeeping and maintains residents’ room in a clean and orderly manner.
• Assist dietary staff with serving meals in the dining room, ensuring residents’ attendance in dining room, and observes residents while eating.
• Arrange for and deliver meal trays for room service as needed, returns trays to kitchen when meal is over.
• Serve supplemental nourishment and snacks as needed.
• Be cross trained to work in all levels of care so assistance can be given to residents in AL, SNF, or memory care.

The ideal candidate will have

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
• Genuine compassion and patience to senior adults.

Compensation Pay Range

$16.06 - $20.88 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $16.06 - $20.88 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
