Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in California is seeking per diem Personal Care Attendants to support residents across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain safety and comfort in a faith-based, supportive environment.

Starting pay is $16.90 per hour with a compensation range of $19.60–$22.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Six months of caregiving experience required.
• COVID-19 vaccination guidelines apply in California.

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene care and assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Medication reminders and coordinating care needs.
• Provide companionship and homemaker services as needed.
• May include phone calls or in-person visits.
• Assist with laundry, meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Provide transportation when required.
• Respite care as needed.

A day in the life of our Personal Care Attendants (PCA)

Caregiving Responsibilities Include

• Personal hygiene care
• May include bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, assistance with dressing and mobility.
• Medication reminders
• May include phone calls or in-person visits
• Companionship
• Homemaker services
• May include laundry, meal preparation, light cleaning
• Transportation
• Respite care

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Six months of caregiving experience required.
• COVID-19 considerations: California vaccination mandate guidelines applied.

Starting Pay

: $16.90 hourly

Compensation Pay Range

$19.60 - $22.60 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.60 - $22.60 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
