Job summary

Laurus is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for residents in our community. The role involves bathing, dining support, mobility, toileting, and morning/evening routines, with a focus on compassionate care and adherence to 1440 care standards.

You will document resident information, communicate changes to the Wellness Leader and families, and participate in staff meetings and trainings. Strong English and empathetic skills are essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Healthcare/geriatric experience preferred
• CNA or MA certification preferred
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture and 1440 care standards
• Completes daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator
• Provide compassionate and competent care including bathing, dining, mobility and toileting
• Assist residents with morning and bedtime routines
• Performs light upkeep of resident rooms and logs activities
• Document appropriate records in the log book
• Communicate changes to Wellness Leader and families
• Attend community staff meetings and trainings
• Maintain safety and emergency procedures

General Working Conditions
