Job summary

Unika Health, a subsidiary of iHealth Labs, seeks a Care Assistant in Daly City, CA for on-site patient care. You will use medical devices and digital tools to support chronic disease management alongside a clinical team.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and exceptional communication, with strong empathy for elderly patients and good problem-solving abilities. Medical knowledge and device setup experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above is REQUIRED.
• Exceptional communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated patience and empathy, especially when interacting with the elderly.
• Familiarity with fundamental medical procedures and terminologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with high adaptability and a keenness to learn.
• Collaborative team member with leadership potential, capacity to motivate peers, and a commitment to maintaining precise records.
• Proficiency in computer operations and technical platforms such as Google Workspace (Chat, Doc, Spreadsheet, Slides) and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks under supervision.
• Check in patients, obtain histories, take vital signs, and prepare charts.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Set up iHealth products for patients under established protocols and obtain tests as needed.
• Coordinate routine office activities and manage clinic inventories and supplies.
• Educate patients on medical device usage and schedule follow-up care.
