Qualicare KC is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist a young senior with daily tasks, heavy organization, and transportation needs in Grain Valley, Missouri. You will support with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompany therapy visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, personal or professional.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings and therapy visits.
• Act as a reliable and safe driver (you will drive their vehicle).

• Assist with ambulation and transportation of clients.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Follow the care plan as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation/Charting.

Job Overview

This role involves assisting a young senior with a physical challenge in managing daily life tasks and household organization. The caregiver will support the client with heavy organizational responsibilities, including ordering, organizing, and possibly selling items as needed.
