Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply normal health requirements and impact on client and family.
• Assist the client with daily care tasks they would normally do.
• Participate in holistic caring activities.
• Care for clients’ needs to promote independence.
• Read and act on Care Plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Respect the individual’s right to confidentiality.
• Assist with moving, dressing, and daily hygiene.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Report hazards or unsafe equipment to senior staff.
• Attend in-service training and mandatory training.
