Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Successful completion of the Hackensack Meridian Health Monitor Tech exam within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient records and supports the written records for each admission/visit.
• Processes physician orders; maintains chart forms for nursing staff.
• Acts as a Monitor Tech and may schedule appointments, cases, and add-ons.
• Maintains open communication between nursing staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Enter orders for tests for Lab, X-Ray, EKG, and Dietary as noted on charts.
• Direct internal and external guests to proper destinations and assist with directions.
